Jazz in the Mountains Scholarship Fund
We believe that music is a gift brought forth from the spirit. We believe that music has no bounds and that every musician should be welcomed, honored, and celebrated. We believe that under the care and tutelage of those who have gone before us, a musician can develop through instruction and encouragement. In this way, musicians can grow and explore – and thus create art that brings joy and benefit to all humanity.
If the cost of attending Jazz in the Mountains is prohibitive, the applicant should contact the Camp Administrator with their concerns. BDI (d/b/a JITM) will set aside money to fund some number of partial and/or full subsidies. Private individuals may choose to contribute to this fund - as administered by BDI.
JITM will deliberately give preference, wherever possible, reasonable, and in line with our stated Mission, to applicants who are traditionally underrepresented. We strive to initiate equity and inclusivity at Jazz in the Mountains with regard to gender and race. Applicants will be considered based on our existing standards.
